AFCAT 2023 Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus: AFCAT or Air Force Common Admission Test is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by Indian Air Force twice in a year. After qualifying the AFCAT exam eligible candidates recruited in Air Force as commissioned officers in flying, ground duty (technical), ground duty (non-technical). Graduate candidates are eligible for this exam. Joining Indian Air Force is one of the dream jobs of every candidate. Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) gives the golden opportunity to the candidate to join Indian Air Force.
As we know AFCAT exam conducted twice in a year so AFCAT 2023 application form can expected in the month of December 2021 First week and exam date could e February 2023. AFCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates for AFCAT 2023 are suggested to check eligibility criteria first before applying. Criteria for Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical), Ground Duty (Non-Technical) are mentioned here, Candidate must be physically and mentally fit
Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of India
Flying Branch
Age Limit: The candidate must be born not earlier than 2 July 1997 and no later than 1 July 2001.
Educational Qualification: Applying candidate must have passed their Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks and mathematics should be a subject in 12th or B.E./B. Tech. OR
Applying candidate must have secured 60% marks in the section A&B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).
Ground Duty (Technical)
Age Limit: The candidate must be born not earlier than 2 July 1995 and no later than 1 July 2001.
Educational Qualification: Candidates having graduation degree in any discipline with 60% marks and Physics and mathematics should be a subject in 12th OR
Four-year graduation degree or integration PG in Engineering/Technology OR
Applying candidate must have secured 60% marks in the section A&B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).
Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
Age Limit: The candidate must be born not earlier than 2 July 1995 and no later than 1 July 2001.
Educational Qualification: Candidates having graduation degree in any discipline with 60% marks are eligible to apply OR must have secured 60% marks in the section A&B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).

AFCAT exam conducted by authority twice in a year as date schedule already mentioned above section. As per schedule aspirants can prepare themselves for the AFCAT 2023 examination physically as well as mentally.
Steps for Filling AFCAT 2023 Application Form Online
- Candidates have to visit on official website to fill their application form online www.careerairforce.nic.in
- Now first candidates needs to register themselves by clicking on registration link
- During registration process candidates have to provide their some general details i.e. name, father name, date of birth, contact number, email id etc
- When registration will complete unique registration number will sent by the authority to give contact number or email id
- After setup their login credential again login to the website and start filling their AFCAT 2023 Application form
- Provide all necessary details correctly
- Upload scan copy of required documents as prescribed format
- Pay the AFCAT 2023 application fee online and submit the application form before due date.

AFCAT 2023 Exam Pattern
- The AFCAT question paper will include General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude.
- All questions will be multiple choices in nature applicants will have to make the correct selection.
- The duration of the entrance examination will be 2.00 hours.
- AFCAT paper consists of 100 MCQ type questions.
- The question paper will be of 300 marks where each question will be of 1 mark.
- Attempting wrong answer will attract a penalty of 1 / 3rd mark

AFCAT 2023 Selection Process
- Short listing of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.
- Candidates selected on the basis of written examination will have to face the screening test i.e. Stage-I test.
- The AFCAT screening test will include officer intelligence rating test and picture perception and discussion test.
- Those who qualify Stage-I will be called for Stage-II testing.
- Stage II will include interactive ability with the Intervening Officer, Psychological Test, Group Test to check personal interaction.
- Candidates who pass SSB / Interview will go through medical examination.
- Finally, an All India Merit List will be prepared on the basis of written examination and interview.
