AILET 2023 Application Form, Registration, Exam Date, Eligibility: All India Law Entrance Test or AILET is a National level examination for admission in National law University, Delhi. The program offered 5-year integrated course for law and Ph.D. Total number of seats available for all the courses are 150 – 200. The admission form for AILET 2023 will be released in the first week of January 2023 and examination will be held in the first week of May 2023. AILET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
For BA LLBHons, candidate must have cleared or appearing in 10 + 2 or Intermediate or Senior School Secondary examination or equivalent from a recognised Board or State or University or National open School or equivalent.
Applicant must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks to become eligible for application.
For LLM course, candidate must have passed or appearing in LLB or equivalent examination from a recognised University or equivalent.
Candidates appearing in LLB must have to produce evidence of their qualification at the time of counselling.
The minimum qualifying marks for applicant in LLB or equivalent examination is 55% for general category and 50% for reserved category.
Students who have cleared their master degree can also apply for LLM
AILET 2023 Application Form: How to Apply
The application form will be available on official website from first week of January 2023.
The first steps to register on official website through contact details.
Candidates are advised to provide working contact details as OTP and future correspondence will be sent on email id and mobile number.
An user id and password is created after registration and student needs to login with the help of these credentials.
Application form needs to be filled-in with personal and educational details, choice of college, examination centre and other details.
Photograph and digital signature needs to be uploaded on the application form in prescribed format only.
Next step is the payment or application fee through Debit card or Credit card or Net banking or offline mode of challan banking, as per the option available. Application fee is Rs.3050 for general category students, Kashmiri migrants and foreign nationals; Rs.1050 forST/SC/PwD and the fees exempted for SC/ST (BPL).
Students are advised to download the filled in application form after submission for future reference.
AILET 2023 Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted in offline mode only, with no language choice except English.
The questions will be of multiple choice, total number being 150 carrying 1mark each , and each wrong answer will be penalized with deduction of 0.25 marks.
Time duration for the conduction of examination is 1.5 hours.
In LLB, question paper consists of 5 Sections namely English, Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Logical reasoning. The weightage of each question is equal to one.
For LLM, 100 multiple type questions will be asked based on Legal Aptitude, carrying one mark each and one subjective type question will be asked of 50 marks.
For Ph.D programmes, the entrance is bit different. It carries with two level test. First level will be of written examination of multiple type questions based on Legal Aptitude and Research Methodology. The students with securing minimum cut off will qualify and they shall be required to submit their research proposal on topic desired.
AILET 2023 Admit card
The tentative date of release of admit card by the authority is 4th week of April 2023.Applicant need to download the admit card from the official website through name & date of birth or application number. Personal details of candidate along with details of examination are imprinted on the admit card. Admit card or hall ticket is mandatory to enter into the examination hall. Candidates are advised to read and follow the instructions mentioned on admit card carefully. Along with admit card, do bring other documents to the examination centre, if asked.
AILET 2023 Result
Result will be declared on official website of NLU, nludelhi.ac.in.The resultof undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be available in the month of May and July respectively. The student can download their results from official website with the help of login credentials provided at the time of registration. The result will be announced as per different categories.The qualified candidates are being called for counselling process. Counselling process is mandatory for admission and students are advised to bring their documents for verification.
