AMU 2023 Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility, Pattern, Registration: Aligarh Muslim University or AMU is Central University in Aligarh, India, established in 1875. Since then, its Moto is to impart education to the people. The university is affiliated with UGC, AIU and NAAC and conduct examination for admission in various disciplines including Science, Arts, Agriculture, Commerce, Engineering and Technology. the students have to go through the written examination for admission in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and PhD level courses.

AMU 2023 Eligibility Criteria
For B.Com, applicants must have passed or appearing in 10+2 level examination or Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognised board or state or National Open School or equivalent with commerce faculty having Accountancy and English as compulsory subjects along with any two subjects from Business studies, Commerce,Mathematics, entrepreneurship, Banking, Statistics or Economics. The minimum marks to be scored in qualifying examination is 55%.
For B.Tech, applicants must have passed or appearing in 10+2 level examination or Intermediate or diploma or equivalent examination in Engineering from a recognised board or state or National Open School or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory papers. The minimum marks to be scored in qualifying examination is 50%.
For BA, applicants must have passed or appearing in 10+2 level examination or Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognised board or state or National Open School or equivalent with English as compulsory subjects along with three other subjects. The minimum mark to be scored in qualifying examination is 50%.
For M.Com, applicants must have passed or appearing in Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination from a recognised board or state or National Open School or equivalent with commerce faculty. The minimum mark to be scored in qualifying examination is 55%.
For MBA, applicants must have passed or appearing in Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination from a recognised board or state or National Open School or equivalent. The minimum marks to be scored in qualifying examination is 50%.
AMU 2023 Application Form Details: How to Apply
The application form will be available till third week of March 2023.
Application form will be available on the official website of AMU, and students need to register in order to fill in the application form.
Registration process will be done with the help of mobile number and email ID.
Students are advised to provide working contact details as same will be used for future correspondence.
User id and password will be generated after successful registration and same have to be used to login into the account in order to fill in the application form.
Application form require personal details and educational details, which should be filled in accurately.
After final submission the form details can’t be changed. Therefore, the form must be rechecked and reviewed for accuracy before final submission.
Candidates should upload photograph and digital signature in the prescribed format before payment of application fee.
Application fee can be paid both through online and offline mode including debit card, credit card, net banking and Bank challan.
The application money is different for various courses ranging from Rs.400 –Rs.650.
Moreover students can fill different application form each for several studies.
AMU 2023 Exam Pattern
Examination will be held in offline mode on several date since April to June 2023 for different courses.
Question paper will consist of objective type questions, which needs to be completed within 2-3 hours as per the course selected.
Each question is of 1 mark and every wrong answer will be penalized with deduction of 0.25 marks.
Question paper for B.Tech consists of 150 questions, B.Com and BA (Hons.) consists of 100 questions and MBA consists of 200 questions.
The number of sections vary with the courses too.
For B.Tech, there will be three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
For MBA, question paper will consist of four sections –Numerical ability and Data Interpretation, Reasoning and Intelligence, Environmental Awareness and Comprehension and Verbal Ability.
The syllabus of relevant course is as per the syllabus of qualifying examination and students needs to prepare from the good study materials and mock tests.
AMU 2023 Admit Card
Admit card will be available for downloading few days before the examination date and students need to download the same with the help of login credentials. The admit card contains all the details of the examination and students need to affix the photograph on the admit car md after downloading. Admit card includes certain instructions too, which should be followed by the candidates to the word. Hall ticket is compulsory document to get entry into the hall and thus, admit card along with identity proof must be available to enter into the examination hall.
AMU 2023 Result
The result will be declared in the second week of June 2023 through official website. Students will be able to get the result by login into the account through credentials. Result contains personal details of candidate, along with marks scored in examination. The students need to score equal or more than it off marks In order to qualify the examination. The qualified student will be called upon for further admission process including counselling. The counselling includes document verification and m students will be eligible to get admitted into desired courses.
