CEED Application Form, Admit Card, Exam Date

CEED 2025 Application Form, Admit Card, Exam Date, Registration : CEED or Common Entrance Examination for Designing is a national level examination for the students seeking to get admission for designing courses in different renowned institutes of India Including IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IISCBangalore and IIT Bombay. The examination is organised by IIT Bombay and score validity is of one year since the date of result. CEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed or appearing in graduation or Bachelor’s degree or Diploma courseor equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.

Candidates who have passed or appearing in GD Arts (10+5) level examination, can also apply for the course.

Candidates who have passed or appearing in lost graduate or equivalent degree can also apply.

There is no age criteria for the CEED.

CEED 2025 Application Form Details

The Application form will be available on official website and applicants can register themselves there.

The registration requires contact details, which must be correct and in working condition as same will be used for future correspondence.

Successful registration will result in creation of login credentials.

The next step is filling up of the form with personal details and educational qualification, which must be true and fair.

The documents including photograph and digital signature needs to be uploaded next.

The registration form will demand fee as prescribed by conducting authority.

The Application fee is Rs.1600 for SC/ ST/ Female or PWD candidates and Rs.3200 for others.

The application fee can be paid through online mode including debit and credit card.

The form needs to submitted once all the details are rechecked and verified for their authenticity.

After final submission of the form, the students will be able to schedule their examination as per convenience.

The candidates are advised to download and save the filled in application form for future reference.

CEED 2025 Exam Pattern

The examination will be held in two parts – Part A and Part B.

The Part A will be commenced in online mode and Part B is scheduled to be held through offline mode.

The examination papers have to be concluded within 3 hours.

The students who got shortlisted after checking of their answer sheet of Part A, only qualifies for evaluation of their answer sheet of Part B.

Part A evaluates Visualization and Spatial ability; Social and Environmental awareness; Language and Creativity; Observation and Design sensitivity; Analytical and Logical Reasoning and Design thinking & Problem solving.

Part A consists of three types of questions –Numerical Answer type questions (NAT); Multiple Select type questions (MSQ); and Multiple choice type questions (MCQ).

8 questions each of 3 Marks will be asked as NAT; 10 questions each of 3 Marks will be asked as MSQ and 23 questions each of 2 Marks will be asked as MCQ.

There is a provision of negative marking of 0.2 Marks in MSQ and 0.5 Marks in MCQ in case of wrong answers.

Part B evaluates Communication skills; Creativity; Problem identification skills and Drawing.

There will be 1 question each from Sketching, Creativity, Form sensitivity, visual sensitivity and problem identification carrying 20 marks each.

The weightage of Part A and Part B in final result is 23% and 75% respectively.

CEED 2025 Admit Card

The admit card will be available on official website on and/or after 1st of January 2025. The students need to download the same with the help of login credentials provided at the time of registration. The students are advised to take print out of the downloaded admit card as applicants will not be allowed to enter into the examination hall without admit card. Along with hall ticket, a valid ID card is compulsory to bring over at the hall. The applicants are advised to read and follow the instructions imprinted on the hall ticket in order to avoid any mayhem.

CEED 2025 Result

The result will be declared second week of March 2025 (tentatively) on the official website. The candidates can download the same with the help of login credentials. The students will be provided with score card online and hard copy of score card will not be provided to the candidates. The cut off will be declared after the release of score card and students are advised to download and take a print out of the cut off and score card for future reference. The cut off will be determined by various factors including difficulty level of examination, seat intake, number of candidates appeared, cut off trends in previous years, etc.

The candidates who have scored minimum of cut off marks are eligible to apply in the institutions for the concerned courses and might end up into getting admissions in the required course and college.
