GUJCET 2023 Application Form, Registration, Exam Date, Admit Card: Gujrat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is a State level Entrance test conducted by State of Gujarat for Engineering and Pharmacy courses in different institutions of Gujarat. The conducting authority is Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board commonly known as GSHSEB. Both Government and non government institutions provide admission in relevant courses as per the qualification in GUJCET. The application processes for claim to be started from last week of March 2023 and examination will be held in second week of May 2023.

GUJCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a citizen of India.
Applicant should possess domicile of Gujarat.
For admission in Engineering courses, applicant should have passed or appearing in 10 + 2 level Examination or Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Examination or equivalent from a recognised Board or State or National Open School or equivalent, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For admission in Pharmacy and Diploma courses, applicant should have passed or appearing in 10 + 2 level Examination or Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Examination or equivalent from a recognised Board or State or National Open School or equivalent, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
For admission in Engineering and Pharmacy courses minimum of 45% marks must be scored in respective qualifying examination.
The reserved category students must score minimum of 40% marks in respective qualifying examination for admission in Engineering and Pharmacy courses.
GUJCET 2023 Application Form
The examination form is deemed to be available from last week of March 2023 on the official website of GSEB.
The online mode of application form will be accepted only by the conducting authority.
Applicants need to register on the official website of GSEB subsequent to the submission of application form.
While applying for the courses, applicants need to fill in their personal, educational, contact and other details as required.
The application form will require uploading of photograph and digital signature in the prescribed format.
Candidates are advised to provide clear and correct information in order to avoid further rejection of application form.
There is no provision of alteration in admission form after the last date of submission, thereby making the importance of correct information inevitable.
The last in filling up of application form is deposition of fee. The fee of Rs.300 can be deposited through online or offline mode. Online mode includes Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking and payment through Bank challan is included in offline mode.
GUJCET 2023 Exam Pattern
The examination will be held in offline mode only and language in which examination will be conducted is English, Hindi and Gujarati.
The question paper will consist of three sections of 40 questions each, thereby making total of 120 questions.
The weightage of each question is 1 mark and each wrong answer will be penalized with deduction of 0.25 marks.
Time duration provided for the completion of question paper as per the authority is 3 hours.
Three sections for the Engineering entrance test are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
For Entrance test of pharmacy courses, three sections are Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The official syllabus for GUJCET is not prescribed. However, the applicant should prepare for examination from the 10 + 2 level syllabus as prescribed by Gujarat State Education Board.
GUJCET 2023 Admit Card
Admit card will be available from first week of May 2023 on the official website of GSEB. Candidates will not receive admit card through offline mode and they have to download the admit card through website only. Admit card or hall ticket includes personal and examination details of candidate and it is mandatory to bring hall pass into the examination hall. Student have to contact authorities incase of any in appropriate or incorrect details imprinted on admit card for the correction required. Students are advised to read and follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card in order to avoid any further issues.
GUJCET 2023 Result
The answer key will be published officially in 3rd week of May 2023 and result will be declared subsequently in 4th week of May 2023. Student can check their results login onto the official website with the help of credentials provided. Merit list will be released afterwards and qualified students will have to proceed further for counselling. For qualification, 40% weightage will be given to entrance examination and 60% to the marks scored in qualifying examination, i.e., standard 12th or equivalent.
GUJCET 2023 Counselling
Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will organise the counselling process for qualified students of GUJCET. The counselling process will be organised through online mode and students need to register in the nearest Kotak Mahindra Bank for the same.The students are provided with information booklet and unique pin number for the counselling. Students need to choose amongst colleges and courses as per the scored marks and availability of seats. Successful counselling will result in students eligibility to take admission in prestigious colleges in the state of Gujarat.
