MAT Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern, Syllabus

MAT 2025 Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern, Syllabus: MAT or Management Aptitude test is organised by All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT is conducted 4 times a year as an eligibility test for admission in MBA or PGDM programs offered by B-Schools. MAT is conducted in the month of February, May, September and December to facilitate admission of post graduate level Management courses. MAT scores are valid for a year to take admissions.

MAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must have passed bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised university or board or equivalent.
  • Students who are appearing in final year of bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised university or board or equivalent.
  • Candidate with a professional degree like CS/CA/ICWA are eligible to apply for the MAT.
  • No age limit or attempt limit has been set by AIMA for MAT.

MAT 2025 Application Form Details

  • The examination form can be filled in and submitted through online mode.
  • The candidate needs to visit official website of AIMA and register before filling up of application form.
  • The name and contact details including email ID is required for registration.
  • It is advised to enter a valid mobile number and email id as OTP for successful registration and future correspondence will be delivered on the same only.
  • Once registration is done user id and password is created.
  • Applicant needs to login using the user id and password and fill in the application form with personal and educational details.
  • Uploading a photo and digital signature and submission of examination fee is the final step of filling up of application form.
  • The examination is done in offline and online mode both referring to a CBT and PBT respectively and same needs to be chosen at the time of filling up of application form.
  • Application we can be deposited through Debit Card or Credit Card or UPI or Net banking for Demand Draft.

MAT 2025 Exam Pattern

  • Examination can be done through online and offline mode both.
  • The medium of examination is English only with objective type questions.
  • The total marks of the question paper is 200 divided into 5 sections with 40 questions each.
  • Each question is of 1 mark and every wrong answer will be penalized with deduction of 0.25 marks each.
  • 5 sections are (a) Section I. Language comprehension. It includes sentence completion and correction, Verbal reasoning and idioms.

                          (b)Mathematics. This section includes Work and Time, Ratio and Proportion, Probability and Statistics.

(c)Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. This section includes Assumptions, Critical Reasoning and Arrangement.

                          (d)Data Analysis and Sufficiency. It includes Graphs, Venn diagrams and Pie chart.

                          (e)Indian and Global Environment. It includes Geography, Current affairs and international organisation.

MAT 2025 Admit Card

Applicant needs to download the admit card from the official website of MAT with the help of user id and password. The downloaded admit card is mandatory to enter into the examination hall. Admit card includes personal details of candidate and details of examination including date, venue and time.

MAT 2025 Result

Results are declared on the official website of MAT and candidate can check their detailed score by entering application number and roll number. The score card is delivered to the candidate by the authorities through post also. Candidate needs to secure at least minimum cut off as announced by authority to get selected for the admission in management programmes. Seats are allotted as per the score of a candidate and every B-School has different admission procedure. Some of the schools even organised interview and group discussion as a whole package of selection procedure. Candidate receive their call letter from institutes as per the marks scored and have to report at the appointed date and time for further admission process.
