OTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For Primary Level Teacher (Class I to Class V)

Applying candidate must passed their intermediate examination or its equivalent

Candidate having diploma in Elementary Education of minimum of 2 years duration with 50% marks are also eligible for applying (some relaxation will be given to reserve category candidate)

For Upper Primary Level Teacher (Class V to Class VIII)

Candidate who have completed their Bachelors degree or appearing in the second year of two year diploma in elementary education can apply

Candidates completed their B.A. / B.Sc. degree also eligible to apply

Candidates completed their B.Ed degree can apply

Minimum passing marks in B.A. / B.Sc. 50% are for General / OBC candidates and 45% for SC / ST candidates are required
