WBJEE 2024 Application Form Date, Exam Date, Syllabus, Admit Card: West Bengal offers admission in Under graduate courses in Engineering, Architecture, Technology and Pharmacy in its various colleges through an entrance test, is known as West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or WBJEE. WBJEE is conducted by WBJEE Board and official website is wbjeeb.nic.in. This state level examination allows student to take admission in various self financed Institution, Government College and universities of West Bengal. WBJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Indian citizen.
The applicant must have attained minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December 2024, but there is no provision of upper age limit. However, candidate must not be more than 25 years as on 31st December 2024 for Marine Engineering.
For Engineering
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 level examination or Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Examination or diploma course or equivalent from a recognised University or Central or State Board or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects, and other subjects must include all or either one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Application or Computer Science.
- The minimum of 45% marks must be secured by the candidate (40% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC-A or OBC-B categories students).
- English with minimum of 30% in qualifying examination is compulsory.
For Pharmacy
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 level examination or Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Examination or diploma course or equivalent from a recognised University or Central or State Board or equivalent with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects, and other subjects must include all or either one of the Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Application or Computer Science.

WBJEE 2024 Application Form Details
The online mode of Application form will be available since third week of December 2022.
The official website will host the registration of candidate with the help of date of birth and contact details.
Contact details must be authentic and in working condition as same will be used for future correspondence.
The complete registration process will provide with an unique user ID and password for further form submission.
The form will demand personal, educational and qualification details, which shall be filled in correctly, and with best of your knowledge.
The Application form asks for photograph and digital signature on the prescribed form.
The last step is the submission of application fee, which may be deposited either through online or offline mode of challan.
The Application fee is Rs.500 plus service charges of Bank.
The filled in form must be submitted successfully and keep a copy of it for future reference.
The authority provides option of correction of any error in the submitted form within the stipulated time.
WBJEE 2024 Exam Pattern
The examination will be held in offline mode and questions will be of multiple choice type.
There will be two shifts in the examination, one morning and next after noon.
The question paper will be divided into two parts. Part I consist of Mathematics and Paper II includes Chemistry and Physics.
Physics and Chemistry will be with 40 questions each and Mathematics paper has 75 questions.
There is no specific syllabus for WBJEE. However, the syllabus includes the 10+2 level topics.
WBJEE 2024 Admit Card
Students can download the admit card from the official website with the help of date of birth or login credentials from second week of April 2024. The online mode of getting an admit card is available only. The admit card contains details of candidate along with the instructions to be followed to word. Candidates need to inform committee in case of any error or discrepancy in the imprinted details. Hall pass is compulsory to enter into the exam hall and hence, must be carried along.
WBJEE 2024 Result
In fourth week of May 2024, official website of WBJEE will release the result of the entrance test and student can download the result with the help of login credentials. Students will get a rank card which contains total score in both the papers, component score and applicable ranks. Candidates can also get their checked OMR sheets on the website.
WBJEE 2024 Counselling
Rank holders students will be called for the online counselling process, which will start from May 2024. The seats will be released and along with other factors, choice and rank will decide the college and university in which admission will be made. Counselling involves document verification too. The students, then have to visit the chosen college for the completion of admission process.
