SCRA 2023 Online Application Form, Notification, Exam Date, Syllabus: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) India conducts the SCRA: Special Class Railway Apprentice programme to select the eligible candidates for undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur. Desired candidates may fill their SCRA 2023 Application Form online and have to clear written test in mathematics, physics, chemistry, English language, general knowledge and mental ability test. Candidates shortlisted after written test will call for interview which is followed by medical examination. After completing the training candidates will place as Grade ‘A’ Railway officer in Indian Railways. SCRA 2023 Application Form
Union Public Service Commission of India will release the official notification for SCRA 2023 Examination Schedule online on its official website. Desired candidates can apply for SCRA 2023 via Online Mode only. Online link will activated after the publication of official notification. All candidates can easily fill their Online SCRA 2023 Application Form. Some general steps can be taken by candidates while applying online which is mention below:
- Visit to the official website of authority www.upsc.gov.in
- Find the link of SCRA 2023 Application Form, Apply Online (Click)
- New webpage will appear, now candidates needs to complete the registration process first.
- For registration candidate need to provide their general details i.e. Name, Communication details. Contact Number a valid email id.
- After registration login credential will be sent to given email id or contact number
- Login with same credential and start filling the application form
- Upload the scan copy of required document in prescribed format
- Pay the SCRA Application fee online also as applicable.
SCRA 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Authority will release details notification on SCRA 2023 Eligibility criteria on its official website. All candidates are advice to check eligibility norms first before applying.
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply
Age Criteria: Applicant must be born between 2nd January 1996 and 1st January 2000. (There would be age relaxation for candidates belong to reserved category as per norms)
- For SC/ST candidates- 5 years
- For OBC candidates- 3 years
- For ex-servicemen and military personnel- 5 years
Educational Qualification: Applicant must pass their Intermediate examination with at least 50% mark with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry is mandatory subjects. Candidate’s passes their first years of graduation are eligible to apply.

SCRA 2023 Admit Card
Candidates applied for SCRA 2023 exam can download their admit card from official website of the UPCS. Authority will not send SCRA Admit card to any candidate manually, the only way to get their admit card is to download it from website. UPSC will publish official notification on their website whenever the SCRA admit card will available for download. Candidates can use their login credential to download their SCRA admit card. Admit card is an important document for appearing in exam. Candidates are advice to take printout of downloaded SCRA admit card and carry with them while going for exam along with valid ID card i.e. Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, License etc.
SCRA 2023 Result
UPSC will declare SCRA 2023 exam result on its official website. Online link will activated whenever the authority will declared the result. Candidates appeared in SCRA 2023 exam will able to check result on website of authority. Candidate wants to check their SCRA 2023 exam result may use their Roll Number/Registration number/Login Credential etc. For further reference candidates may take hard copy of downloaded SCRA result.
