KEAM 2024 Application Form, Date, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern: Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala organize entrance test every year for admission in various courses like Pharmacy,  Engineering etc. Through KEAM, students can be able to study in various institutions of Kerala state in the courses including Pharmacy, Architecture, Medical, Engineering and allied courses. The examination will be conducted in the 4th week of April 2024 and application form will be available since first week of February 2024 to last week of February 2024. KEAM 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Indian citizen, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) can apply for admission in courses through KEAM.

For professional courses, the candidates are divided into three categories – Keralite, Non Keralite category 1 (NK1) and Non Keralite category 2 (NK2).

The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years till 31st December.

For Engineering courses, candidate must have passed 10 + 2 level examination or Intermediate or SeniorSecondary School Examination or equivalent from a recognised Board or State or NationalOpenSchool or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Candidate must have secured minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics or as an aggregate inPhysics,Chemistry and Mathematics.Government controlled self financing engineering colleges and private self financing engineering colleges have reservations in admission in management quota.

For Architecture courses, applicant must have passed 10 + 2 level Examination or equivalent from recognised Board; or 10 + 3 diploma course; with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, and securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

For B.Arch courses, valid NATA score card is mandatory too.

For medical and allied courses, applicant must have passed 10 + 2 level examination orequivalent from recognised Board or State or National Open school or equivalent with Physics,Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology(as required by the course) as compulsory subjects.

Applicant must have secured 50% marks in Biology/ Biotechnology (as required by the course) and aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ biotechnology (as required by the course) for admission inMBBS, BSMS, BDS, BUMS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc Hons. In Agriculture and Forestry, BFS and B.Pharma.

Biotechnology can’t be considered as academic subject for admission in B.Sc Hons. In Agriculture and Forestry and BFS.

For admission in BVScand AH, aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English is mandatory.

KEAM 2024 Application Form Details

Candidate need to visit on official website https://cee.kerala.gov.inand need to register there with the help of contact details.

After registration user id and password will be generated and application need to re-login using these credentials.

The application form to be filled with appropriate personal educational and contact details as required along with any reservation or caste certificate.

The applicant needs to upload photograph digital signature and left hand thumb impression as per the specifications provided.

Next step is the payment of application fee; and same can be paid through debit card credit card net banking for demand draft. For the students of SC category, there is a provision of discount in application fee, and ST category students are exempted from application fee.

After final submission application need to download and take two print outs of the field in application form. One to be held by himself for future reference and other need to be posted to the address of commissioner of entrance examination, Kerala, with supporting documents.

KEAM allows correction in the filled in application form only once after final date of submission of the same.

KEAM 2024 Admit Card

Admit card for KEAM 2024 examination will be released tentatively by the first week of April 2024. The release of admit card will be notified by concerned authority and same can be downloaded from official website with the help of application number and date of birth. Admit card carries personal and examination details of candidate including date and venue of examination. Hall ticket is compulsory to enter into the examination hall and must be presented at the time of counselling and admission, as and when required. The candidate need to choose the examination centre at the time of filling of examination form tries to provide examination centre of candidate’s choice. However, the final decision rests in the hand of authority only.

KEAM 2024 Exam Pattern

KEAM examination will be held in offline mode only using pen and paper.

The question paper will consist of two papers –Paper 1, Physics and Chemistry; and Paper 2, Mathematics.

120 questions will be asked in each paper and 150 minutes will be provided to complete each paper.

Type of questions will be objective type and weightage of each question is equal to 4 marks.

There is provision of negative marking and each wrong answer will be penalized with deduction of one mark.

For B.Pharma courses, applicant need to write only Paper 1.

Students need to prepare from standard 12th level syllabus for the examination. However, University prescribed syllabus and list of topics to be prepared are available on  the website.

KEAM 2024 Result

Result of entrance test KEAM 2024 is likely to be announced in 4th week of May 2024. The result can be seen and downloaded from official website and score card can be obtained using user name or application number.

On or before third week of June 2024, separate rank list for Engineering, Medical and other courses will be published by the authority.

4th week of June 2024, centralised counselling process will be started through online mode for different courses and qualified candidates have to be present during counselling in order to proceed further for admission process. After successful counselling, students get admission in their respective courses in different institutions in the state of Kerala.
